One of the many fun things to do in St. Petersburg, Florida

The Denver Broncos signed Elam to a one day deal so he could officially retire as a Denver Bronco.
He played for the Atlanta Falcons the previous year, but spent most of his career in Denver.
Many NFL players sign one day deals so they can retire with the team they played for most of their career.

See the weather for 2010, end of March. This is 'lower' than it normally
is in the St. Petersburg area, about 5-10 degrees below normal.

This photo should explain it all. You need a glass container that can be
closed. Use cold water and any regular tea bags (we used Red Rose
brand). This is about 2 liters of cold water, using 7 tea bags. The
strength is your own preference. 4 tea bags per liter is the standard
strength. Just place the contained with the tea bags in the sun for the
day. Remove the tea bags and chill in the refrigerator for a few hours.
In this photo the tea had been sitting for about 1 hr. No mixing
required. Add sugar and ice to your glass instead of the container so
you can sweeten to your liking. Sit back, enjoy your retirement in
Florida! Happy Sun Tea!

This is a VERY SMALL restaurant right on 301 which connects Ellington
and Palmetto Florida

2nd Annual Florida Boomer Lifestyle Conference, taking place April 15, 2010 at Ruth Eckerd Hall in Clearwater.

The theme of this event is 'Reinventing Life After 50'.

April 15th, 2010 at Ruth Eckerd Hall

This is an event at SPC College corner of Park Blvd and 66th. See photo
for details on this career day event, March 24th 2010

This is a new bread product from Thomas' called Bagel Thins. They LOOK
like a regular thick bagel with the middle sliced out, but they are not
really bagels. This is just bread shaped into the form of a bagel. These
were not processed in the same manor as a traditional bagel (boiled then
baked). These DO have 5g of fiber per 'bagel' but these are closer to a
hamburger bun than a bagel. Do we recommend this? Well.. It is good, but
if you are expecting a bagel without all the extra bread then don't get
this product. If you want a bagel without all the thickness, get their
real bagels and slice out the middle. Bagels are special because they
have that nice chewy texture. These do not have that texture.

This is a standard size can of beans. The can says it has 30% of your
daily fiber, but the whole can has 3.5 servings. Eat the whole can and
you are all set for the day. A high fiber diet is essential to good
health, especially later in life, and in your retirement years. Cheap
too, about 65 cents for a can of red Kidney beans ( Walmart in St.
Petersburg, FL )

This is the display at Publix which has a Tampa Bay Rays beach chair and
cooler. Relax on the beach in St. Petersburg. Retirement in St.
Petersburg is awesome!

This is the temp in March, colder than normal for this area of Florida.
Still a popular retirement location.

This is supposed to be some all new health drink. Good luck affording it
now that your stocks have tanked. See the price of this? It can't be
THAT good for you, probably just as health worthy as apple juice. As
seen at Publix supermarket in Florida. www.DailyRetirement.com - stay
healthy, and smart with the little bit of money you have now.

See the exact time and location in photo. Seen inside the SPC campus in
Pinellas Park, near 66th and Park Blvd. www.DailyRetirement.com

This looks kind of empty.
Often you can see retired people sitting here during the day (in Florida)
For many it is their only 'getting out' for the the day.
Some retirement communities have more to do than sit at Burger King.
This was in Edgewater, Florida
There isn't much to do in that area for retired people.
Good coffee at a senior citizen discount!

This area of Florida is about 20 miles SOUTH of Daytona Beach.
Most of the people who live here are 55+ age. There are not many jobs in the area, but that is because most of the people who live there have finished the work.
Houses are fairly new, the one pictured here is 2001.

One of those fun birthday cakes you get your grandkids.

Stick to whole grains and tea.

This was during the 2010 Epcot Flower and Garden Festival.
Great place to go visit in Disney World as this is the theme park with less rides, and more things to see.
http://www.DailyRetirement.com

Well, this could become a familiar sign you see as you wait for a ride
to work at the grocery store. Scary, but true for a lot of people who do
not plan ahead, or who have their savings wiped out by the US
government, health issues, or poor investment choices. Watch Mad Money,
really. And get Starbucks at $23.10 today. It could reach $35 in a year
or so. You watch.

Snapped this one day in Osceola, Florida. Nice Florida area, but too far
from the beach!
